EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY IN GULF INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT COMPANY (E.C.) IN THE KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

Gulf Industrial Investment Company (GIIC), an ISO 9001: 2000 and 14001: 2004 certified Company, located in the Kingdom of Bahrain and operating two iron ore palletizing plants have an annual capacity of 11.0 Million Tons currently needs the following personnel with relevant work experience to meet the requirements indicated against each position:
 

Mechanical Supervisor 

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent with a minimum of 10 years experience in the mechanical and / or refractory maintenance, maintenance planning of Ore Beneficiation, Palletizing/ Cement Plant or related heavy industrial plants. 5 years of which is in a supervisory position.
 

Production Supervisor 

• Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum 10 years of operating experience in Ore Beneficiation, Palletizing or Cement Plant, 5 years of which is in a supervisory position.
 

Central Control Room Operators - Pellet Plant 

• Diploma in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum 7 years of operating experience in Ore Beneficiation, Palletizing or Cement Plant. Suitable candidates will have PLCIDCS Central Control Room operating experience .
 

Operators - Pellet Plant 

• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 5 years of operating experience in toe. hot section of Palletizing, Cement or Sinter Plant.
 

Operators - Material Handling (Unloader) 

• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent with knowledge of marine or vessel unloading procedure with 3 to 4 years experience in operating grab type ship un loader or identical crane on barges/ships.
 

Senior E/I Technician
• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent with minimum 7 years experience in Palletizing / cement plants or similar industrial plants


Instrument Technicians

• Diploma in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent with minimum 5 years experience in the maintenance of instruments in Ore Beneficiation, Palletizing or Cement Plant with good knowledge of instrumentation facilities in the plant and able to write reports.
 

Machinist/ Mechanical 
• Diploma from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent with 5 years machine shop experience for heavy industry.
 

Industrial Mechanic (General) 
• Diploma from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent with 7 Years experience as a general mechanic and/or maintaining HVAC systems in heavy industrial plants.
 

Shift Supervisor - Material Handling 

• Degree in Engineering with 8 years experience in operating Material Handling Systems handling high volumes of bulk materials at marine terminals.
 

Superintendent, Material Handling 

• Degree in Engineering with 15 years experience in operating Material Handling Systems handling high volumes of bulk materials at marine terminals.
 

Process Engineer 

• Degree in Metallurgical, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in process engineering in Iron Ore Palletizing Plants or related heavy industry.
 

Process Technician 

• Degree or Diploma in Metallurgical, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in process engineering in Iron Ore Palletizing Plants or related heavy industrial plants.
 

Electricians 

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent with minimum 7 years experience in palletizing/cement plants or related heavy industrial plants.
 

Attractive tax-free salary commensurate with qualifications and experience on a 2 years contract renewable subject to performance, includin.9 accommodation allowance as applicable to the respective positions, joining & leave tick' medical insurance, leaving indemnity, etc will be provided.
